Peec AI alternatives in 2026: pricing, and who each suits

Peec itself is a strong daily tracker from about €89 a month. People look past it for a lower price (Otterly), an SEO suite they already pay for (Semrush), accuracy checks tied to PR (Agentcy), hundreds of prompts (Scrunch) or enterprise scope (Profound).

Peec appears in six of the seven "best AI visibility tools" lists we checked, more than any other tool, so each alternative here answers a different reason to look past it.

What you get from Peec

Peec calls itself AI search analytics for marketing teams and SEO agencies, and says more than 3,000 brands and agencies use it. Starter buys 50 prompts tracked daily on three assistants of your choice, unlimited seats and regions, prompt suggestions and data exports. If you want daily data across many seats and markets at a self-serve price, stay. Its pages don't mention an accuracy check, so you learn whether you were named and in what tone but not whether the answer was right. It has no PR tools either, which means acting on its source data happens somewhere else.

Peec's own pricing page showed no figures when we read it. The €89 comes from Peec's Peec-vs-Profound page. Backlinko (8 October 2026) quotes the same.

The alternatives

Otterly is cheaper, with fifteen daily prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot and a seven-day trial that needs no card. Gemini, AI Mode and Claude cost extra.

If you already pay for Semrush, its AI Visibility Toolkit runs 25 daily prompts on ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini and Perplexity next to your SEO data. Fifty more prompts cost $60 a month.

Agentcy grades every answer against the facts you record about your company, and the publications the assistants cite become a pitch list for the journalist CRM and drafting tools in the same product. It runs weekly, on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

Scrunch is for volume, with 350 custom and 1,000 industry prompts on seven assistants, Claude and Meta among them. It rates answers for factual accuracy and claim completeness. Profound is the enterprise option, up to nine engines. Its FactCheck Agent traces wrong claims to the publishers repeating them and drafts a correction for each.

Peec or Agentcy

Peec wins on frequency and seats, with daily runs and unlimited users and regions. It also offers Google AI Mode and AI Overviews, if those matter more than Gemini.

Agentcy is PR software first and a tracker second, so the cited sources lead straight into monitoring, a journalist CRM and drafting. It bills monthly with no contract. How the tracker works.

One UK agency using Agentcy went from being named in 9 of 496 AI answers to 175 of 493 in two weeks in September 2026, mostly on the strength of one comparison page; the method and weekly results are in its AI visibility index.

Moving from Peec

Export your prompts and last runs from Peec as a baseline, because run history does not move between trackers.

Paste the prompts into Agentcy or let it draft a set from your website, and stick to comparing trends until you have four weekly runs.

Questions

How much does Peec AI cost?

Peec AI's own comparison page (13 October 2026) puts Starter at about €89 a month, Pro at €199 and Enterprise from $499 a month. Starter tracks 50 prompts daily on three assistants of your choice and Pro tracks 150, while Enterprise runs more than 300 across unlimited countries. Peec's pricing page showed no figures when we read it, so third-party sources fill in. Zapier (September 2026) quotes $95 for Starter, and Backlinko (8 October 2026) gives the same €89 as Peec.

Does Peec AI have a free plan?

Peec AI has no free plan, though it offers a trial with no credit card and doesn't say how long the trial lasts. Athena HQ has a free Essential tier with $25 of credit, where one credit buys one AI response. Otterly and Scrunch both give seven-day trials without a card. Agentcy's AI visibility checker shows a first result without an email address, and its open-source tracker costs nothing if you run it yourself.

Which AI assistants does Peec AI track?

Peec AI's Starter plan tracks three assistants of your choice from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Google AI Overviews, and its home page also names Gemini. Enterprise adds Claude, DeepSeek, Llama, Grok and others, per Peec's comparison page on 13 October 2026. Among the alternatives, Profound tracks up to nine engines and Scrunch seven, including Claude and Meta. Agentcy's three, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, leave out Google AI Overviews, so a team that cares most about those will get more from Peec or Otterly.

What is the cheapest Peec AI alternative?

The cheapest paid Peec AI alternative on published prices is Rankscale Essentials, at $20 a month billed yearly, with Otterly Lite next at $29 a month, or $25 billed yearly (13 October 2026). Otterly Lite runs 15 prompts daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, with a seven-day trial that needs no card. HubSpot's AEO tool, in beta, is $50 a month for 25 daily prompts. All three cost less than Peec's €89 Starter, and none of them states an accuracy check on the answers.

Is there an open-source alternative to Peec AI?

Agentcy publishes an open-source AI visibility tracker on GitHub under an MIT licence. You bring your own API keys for the assistants and run it yourself, so the only cost is those API calls. None of the other vendors in this comparison says its product is open source, and we found no other AI visibility vendor that does when we checked on 13 October 2026. If you'd rather not host anything, AI Visibility Core runs 40 prompts a week and grades each answer against your facts.
