Each piece of coverage
Most coverage reports are still a spreadsheet put together on the last Friday of the month. In Agentcy each piece is recorded as it lands, with its publication, journalist, tier, tone, estimated views and more, and past coverage imports too.
Because the report builds from those fields, "tier 1 pieces that carried our main message this quarter" is one view of the record.
The quality score
Estimated views tell you how many people could have seen a piece, which says nothing about whether it helped. The quality score grades how much of the piece was about you, whether it carried your message and how favourable it was, and over a quarter the trend shows whether coverage is getting better as well as more frequent.
Projects and the executive dashboard
A launch or campaign can be set up as a project that opens on four tiles, with total items and tier 1 beside total views and total UMV.
Your board opens the executive dashboard from a link, without an account. Free gives you a shareable link, Core refreshes it monthly and Pro has the full dashboard.
If you already have monitoring and only want a tidy report from links you paste in, CoverageBook does that for less; see what PR software costs.
Self-serve reporting starts on Core at $269/month.
Questions
Which Agentcy plans include coverage reports?
Every Agentcy plan builds a coverage report, the free one included, and the plans differ in how much coverage they track and how much of the executive dashboard you get. The free plan tracks 30 pieces a month with a shareable dashboard link, Core tracks 100 with a monthly refresh, and Pro is unlimited with full dashboard access. The table shows each plan's limits.
| Feature | FreeFree | Core$269/month | Pro$1,200/month | EnterpriseCustom |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coverage tracked | 30 pieces a month | 100 pieces a month | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Self-serve coverage reporting | Coverage report | Yes | Yes | Yes |

Does Agentcy measure share of voice?
Share of voice is an optional add-on in Agentcy, measuring how much of your sector's coverage you get against the competitors you choose. It sits alongside the coverage report, and you can add it when you want it, so get in touch to switch it on. Share of voice in AI answers is separate, and comes with AI visibility tracking, which counts your mentions against competitors' in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity answers every week. AI visibility tracking has the detail.
Does it track print and broadcast coverage?
Agentcy monitors online media only, so it won't find print or broadcast coverage for you. If most of your coverage is print or broadcast, Meltwater or Cision will serve you better, and Meltwater alternatives compares them. Teams whose coverage is mostly online trade and business press get the full record, with each piece's tier and prominence recorded along with its domain authority and social shares.
Can I see who wrote each piece?
Agentcy links each piece of coverage to the journalist who wrote it, because reporting sits on the same journalist CRM. Open the journalist's record and you see their stage, the pitches you've sent them and every piece they've written about you. Each journalist also has a page your team can edit, with what they cover and what they've written lately. When you plan the next launch, the journalists who covered the last one are a filter away.
Can clients see their own reports?
On Agentcy for Agencies, each client gets three client seats and sees its own coverage and reports as they update. Clients also see the news for their own brand, the external meetings they attended and anything waiting for their approval. Your WIP board, Slack channels, internal notes, pitch drafts and internal meetings stay hidden from them. PR software for agencies has the agency plan in full.
